1. Fall Scented Candles
I am OBSESSED With candles. I thought maybe one day I would grow out of this obsession, but here I am still looking forward to lighting my fall scented candles every year! Excitement fills my soul when I walk past Bath&Body Works or Yankee Candle and smell apples, pumpkins, and marshmallow fireside! SO GOOD. To really set the fall mood, light up one of your favorite fall scented candles.

2. Switch up your Decor to Fall Colors
I LOVE switching out my decor once summer begins to end. Some ways that I will incorporate fall into my home is by switching my blankets and pillow cases. I stick to a white down comforter on my bed to make it easier to switch up the colors. I will usually add pops of orange and red to set the fall mood. Plaid in the fall can be cozy too! Since the temperature starts to chill in the fall , adding flannel can be a nice touch!
Don’t be afraid to add some pumpkins around your home, and other cute fall decor. One of my favorite stores to shop at for fall decor is Michaels & TJ Maxx! They ALWAYS have the best selection at affordable prices. But Pottery Barn, Kohls, Target all have awesome selections too (:

Is it really fall if you don’t go apple picking? My favorite fall activity is apple picking! I can’t get enough! The best part is that you get to bake an apple crisp when you get home. Nothing smells more like fall than when you are baking an apple pie! YUM!
4. Carve Pumpkins
This is such a fun way to set the fall mood! I won’t lie, I am not the best pumpkin carver, but it’s fun nonetheless! Plus, who else LOVES pumpkin seeds? Lightly salted goodness!
5. Watch your Favorite Fall Movies
I am a huge lover of fall movies! A perfect way to set the fall mood is to watch a good Halloween movie. I always wait patiently filled with excitement for the 13 days of Halloween, just so I can watch my favorite Halloween classics! Here is a list of hands down, THE BEST Halloween/fall movies.
